I am based in Aldershot in Hampshire, and have been passionate about dogs my whole life. I grew up with German Shepherds as our family pet and have owned and trained many of my own and still do, including rescues and as puppies.
I qualified as an obedience instructor in 2011 and have been teaching obedience classes from puppy, right through to Novice, at my local GSD club ever since. Over the years my interest in not only dog training, but dog behaviour has grown massively and so I enrolled with the British College of Canine Studies to undertake the Level 4 Advanced Canine Behaviour Course. The knowledge gained has been invaluable. I like to keep myself up-to-date with modern dog behaviour and training techniques available in the constantly evolving world of our domestic pet dog. I have enrolled on courses with IMDT to further fill my toolkit of canine training and behaviour knowledge.
As a result I have established Wisdom DTaB. (Dog Training and Behaviour) I want to help, teach and enlighten dog owners in understanding more about their dogs and their dog behaviour, from the dog's perspective, enriching the lives and bond between dogs and owners.
Dog Behaviour and Dog Training are very different but can compliment one another when used together, to help modify and improve some dog behaviours.
Training should always be fun, engaging and rewarding for all involved.
My goal is to offer small group classes and also, for those who prefer, 1-2-1 sessions.
